Based on a true story and tirelessly researched from Army Signal Corps photos, aerial reconnaissance images, and eyewitness accounts, Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 is probably the most authentic WWII FPS on PS2 to date. Commanding the squadron of 101st Airborne paratroopers, you're tasked with fulfilling your objectives across war-ravaged France with minimum losses.
A cast of over 20 soldiers make up your Brothers in Arms(1) and your job, as Sgt. Matt Baker, is to strike a balance between keeping them alive and successfully completing mission objectives. Your squad is quickly and efficiently commanded via a user-friendly control system and smart tactical thinking is required if you're to defeat the game's AI enemies, who'll attempt to trap or flank you at every given opportunity.
If you want a break from your single player objectives, Brothers in Arms also features an innovative multiplayer mode. Taking control of a three-man team, you can engage friends in battles of tactics and wits across a variety of mission types.
