Overview

Join a battle-hardened band of brothers and fight through D-Day in this fresh perspective on World War II.

Play your part in one of the most momentous days in military history with Combat Elite: WWII Paratroopers. Thrown into action on D-Day, you must guide your soldier through some of the most horrific battles of the war, rising through the ranks as you battle through over 40 levels.

Unlike most WWII games, the action is presented from a top-down view, giving you a bigger picture of what's happening on the battlefield as you battle the Nazi regime on occupied territory. As the game progresses, you'll fight over rolling hills, open plains and war-torn cities across France, Holland and Belgium, eventually reaching the Fatherland itself.

The game uses the same technology as Champions of Norrath, which is perfect for rendering war-torn Europe in incredible detail, be it Operation Market Garden, D-Day, or the bitter winter defence of Bastogne.

Two players can play together co-operatively, and as you succeed in your missions you'll be promoted through the ranks. Beginning as a Private, through battle experience you will not only earn promotion, but increase your skills on the battlefield, allowing you to customise your character to match your preferred strategy.

A huge assortment of historically accurate weapons, equipment and devices will be made available to you as you take the fight to the Germans. Only the most successful of players will be able to fulfil the ultimate goal: preventing the Nazi regime from developing an atomic bomb that could change the face of Europe forever.
