Meet John Constantine, a man who's literally been to Hell and back, in SCi and Warner Bros Interactive's game-of-the-film-of-the-comic-book.
Keanu Reeves takes the starring role in Constantine, Warner Bros' big screen adaptation of DC Comics/Vertigo's Hellblazer graphic novels, also materialising on PS2 in the form of a third-person action horror. Mirroring the plot of the movie and promising paranormal thrills aplenty, Constantine sees you switching between realms and using supernatural weapons in a battle against pure evil.
The demon-bashing action takes place in the twin planes of Earth Los Angeles and Hell Los Angeles. One is a weird and vile domain, plagued by corruption and inhabited by evil, unnatural beasts. The other, presumably, is Hell LA.
Digs at America's movie capital aside, Constantine ticks all of the right boxes in terms of doing justice to its source material. Reeves and his co-stars Tilda Swinton, Gavin Rossdale and Max Baker have all loaned their likenesses to the game, as have legions of the film's hellish creatures. Fortunately, John Constatine packs a mean array of paranormal weapons and abilities to send them back to hell, such as the Crucifier, Storm Crow, and the Holy Shotgun.
- Explore Earth L.A. and Hell L.A. as you investigate a mysterious suicide
- Use supernatural skills and weaponry
- Features enemies created exclusively for the game
