MUBI on PlayStation 3 is teaming up with the Cannes Film Festival to bring you 20 years of critics' favourites.
May 2011 sees the return of the Cannes Film Festival, the most prestigious film event of the year, and with it marks the 50th anniversary of the beginning of one of the most exciting sections of the Cannes Film Festival - Critics' Week.
Critics' Week is where true cinematic discoveries are made and the best place to find Auteurs -, serving as a springboard for the likes of Bernardo Bertolucci, Ken Loach and even Guillermo del Toro. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the event, MUBI has something very special for you - it is partnering with the Cannes Film Festival to bring you a huge roster of films screened over the past 20 years in Critics' Week.
In this amazing film festival taking place on your PlayStation 3, you'll find household names that were making films before they were well known such as Wong Kar-wai and Chris Marker. You may also discover films from new filmmakers, whose future is in your hands, waiting to be recognised and acclaimed.
To see what films from the Critics' Week 50th anniversary retrospective are showing in your country, view the Semaine de la Critique du Festival du Cannes page on the MUBI application on your PS3 for a complete list of all these amazing films that will be available from 12 May 2011.
