Read on for details of two great new downloads for your PlayStation 3, available exclusivly from PlayStation Network.
PlayStation Network is brimming with exciting content for your PS3, ranging from full games to videos, screensavers, extra content for your favourite games and much, much more. Here are a couple of the best up and comers:
Trials of Topoq
The Trials of Topoq is a classic ball-rolling puzzle game in which the player has to try and get a ball from the start to the end of courses strewn with obstacles and dangers. So far, so straightforward. Trials of Topoq however, uses the PlayStation®Eye Camera to let the player put themself into the game and use their motions to lift and distort the game world to create slopes and waves that control the ball's movement through the course. The game's cities each have an epic, otherworldly feel to them, and this is enhanced by the stirring soundtrack and beautifully detailed presentation.
Containing five cities, each split into six courses, there's plenty of puzzling action here to keep you busy, and the PlayStation®Eye functionality is an innovative twist to an already enthralling game.
High Velocity Bowling
Drenched in 1950s American kitsch, and with a lounge music soundtrack to match, High Velocity Bowling provides a tongue-in-cheek bowling experience that utilises the SIXAXIS Wireless Controller to its full potential.
Gripping the SIXAXIS Wireless Controller side on in your hand, you can adjust your position by tilting the controller left and right, and add spin with the L2 and R2 buttons. Then you simply draw your arm back and swing forward as you would if you were bowling in real life. The faster your swing, the faster your ball will fly at the pins. It's that simple and that much fun.
The game features 10 different bowlers each with their own colourful personalities and catchphrases, as well as their own personalised alleys, ball weights, spin ratings, speed, accuracy, strengths and weaknesses. Also featured are a wide range of different game modes, including trick shot competitions, tournament and head-to-head battles in challenge mode.
With its retro-Americana feel and unique control system, High Velocity Bowling is perfect for multiplayer and a must have title on PlayStation Network.
